Necessary part of daily health routineI use 1 tbsp of Barleans fish oil daily a part of my maintenance routine for hashimoto's. Prior to discovering this product, I tried every fish oil (including the highly acclaimed Nordic Naturals brand) and have ALWAYS been left with that awful fishy burp/aftertaste. When my girlfriend first told me about Barlean's, I almost gagged in her face at the thought of it - but once I tried it I was blown away by the nice taste and instantly bought my own supply. I became a customer and have been using it and recommending to my friends for years. Now I'm pregnant and take 2 tbsp daily and feel confident in this product and happy to continue enjoying the benefits of fish oil without any bad side effects. 5This fish oil was recommended by my dr to help with arthritisThis fish oil was recommended by my dr to help with arthritis ! I like that it s liquid because I have a hard time swallowing pills! It doesn t taste fishy but I don t like the consistency as it s very thick! I have been taking it for 3 months now. 4This one seemed good for the levels and price along with serving size ...I searched for a high content EPA and DHA omega 3 oil for quite some time. This one seemed good for the levels and price along with serving size needed. Oh, and good reviews. I wasn't quite prepared, however, for how sweet it actually would be which is my main reason for this review. I've managed to slip in a tsp. to my salad instead of salad dressing, and a tsp. to a hamburger, or with my eggs, or added to sardines or mackerel instead of ketchup. All that's good. I may manage to get through this fairly big bottle despite the sweetness. And as a plus there's no sodium so reducing my desire for salad dressing is a good thing. I do wish there was less zylitol added. Even to have a bit more fish taste instead of extreme sweetness would be more my game. So, to wrap this up..think creamy, super sweet orange flavored dipping sauce and not fish oil and then you'll be happy with this product. 4Delicious for what it is!We love this stuff. The flavor sort of resembles and old Flinstone push-pop. My husband, myself, and our 1 year old take this fish oil. It tastes so good that my one year old takes a spoonful easily. The fish taste is such that I had to throw out my smoothie. My smoothie cup is currently soaking (to get rid of the fish smell). I have never, ever been able to detect the fish flavor or odor in this product. Both this one and the pina colada one have a fish odor (this one is the worst, but it has a higher concentration of fish oil in it). I tried to contact Amazon to let them know outside of a review, but don't see an option. Can't really return an item like these, so highly disappointed at the money wasted on these products. It makes him a little calmer, happier and relaxed. So happy to have found something natural that actually works. He is taking it to help with ADHD symptoms, and he says it has helped him think more clearly than before he was taking it. It's way too sweet for my taste (I'll keep taking capsules, thank you), but it's perfect for my husband! 5Tastes suprising good - no fish flavor noticable at allMy son has ADHD so I wanted to start him on a fish oil supplement. He cannot swallow those giant capsules yet since he is only 7 years old so I had to find a liquid version. To have the best results for ADHD, you need 1000-2000 mg of omega-3's with a 3:1 ratio of DHA to EPA. That is not possible with the gummy style vitamins without taking a bunch of them each day. This omega swirl was recommended on an ADHD website and it said it didn't taste like fish oil and didn't cause fish burps as long as you take it along with food. My local vitamin store sold the pinapple-passionfruit smoothie flavor. My son really liked that one. Amazon offered the citrus sorbet flavor at a better price. He was skeptical at first because the color was slightly different. I didn't tell him it was a different flavor because he likes things just so. He took this flavor without a complaint though. I can say that his teacher noticed a difference in his behavior after he had been taking it for about a week so I will keep up with him taking it. I am so happy I found a good tasting (and yes, I have tasted it too) fish oil supplement that can help my son. 5
