I just received the supporter and I like it. This is the third pelvic supporter I ...I just received the supporter and I like it. This is the third pelvic supporter I have tried, I like that it fits low over pelvic area and not across the tummy area. Like some have said it is stiff but it is not uncomfortable and helps it not to shift. I would suggest wearing panties with a longer leg seam 3- 6 inch inseam according to how full your inner thigh is. The longer inseam keeps it comfortable no rubbing. 4Amazing piece of contraption for vulvar varicose veins during pregnancy!!!Got vulvar varicosities around week 20 of pregnancy and thought my life was over until the baby comes. The pain just kept getting worse, I was able to be up on my feet for about 1 hour at a time until I had to lay down and elevate my legs again. My midwife suggested to buy a V2 supporter and when I saw what this contraption looked like I was like "sorry, not gonna happen!" Well, around week 25 I finally caved. At that point even just a simple task like cooking in the kitchen was impossible - even at a mere 30 minutes being on my legs. Now here's the thing, don't go off the weight for sizing, you need to go off your hip measurement! You want this strap to be tight, but not too tight where your legs turn purple! I bought both the Small and Medium, because I was right there at the edge of the hip measurement, and the Medium fits nicely even now that I'm 35 weeks preggers. That said, I definitely think this strap runs rather small and you might want to go one size up.It might take a little bit of getting used to, but the effects are amazing. Although the varicose veins have gotten worse over the weeks, I can be up and about for 3-5 hours or longer if I take breaks, without the horrible pain that dragged me down. Yes, your butt looks a little lumpy, but in the end I was able to get my life back! 5Wonderful and it works but I have added some tips to make it more comfortable! (See the full review)I should have bought these a long time ago! Period! This is my third pregnancy and second time dealing with vulvar varicose veins. This when tighten in the back to fit your body do relief pain and throbbing feeling that the veins can cause. If you are walking or standing this is a wonderful support. However, after sit for a longer period of time I did notice it getting uncomfortable. My varicose vein extends down through my leg so this was cutting off some circulation leading to more painful leg. Nothing is going to be perfect. SO I have opted to bring along a ziplock bag where I can put it away in my purse to give my body a break. I only wear it a few hours at a time or when I am going to walk/stand. Second I think these should be worn with an under garment of some kind. For example underwear shorts to prevent it from touching your skin to avoid irritation and also to keep it clean. I have only washed it by hand once so far and it dries very nicely. Overall I am super happy I don't have to be in pain down there the whole day. THANK YOU ITS YOU BABE!!!! 5Prolapse relief!!I'm 73 with a large prolapse (rectocele)...this brace works great! There isn't much out there for prolapse and less for rectocele prolapse. This is a design that works very well for it because of the under-pelvis criss-crossed strapping and the adjustable back strapping. If this were designed specifically for prolapse, I can't conceive of what would be done much differently. I wish I could blast this out to the poor underserved prolapse world...there is help and this is it!! Surgery is a huge risk...this is a risk-free and affordable happy alternative. It's first test was a steep hills long fast (for me) walk...it performed to perfection!! I was comfortable throughout and still when I sat in a coffee shop for a long while. Easy to wear on the on top of underwear (my choice) and the hip band is wide enough to not create obvious creases in your body under clothes.I would imagine this to work well for all pelvic prolapse kinds types and varieties! 5It really helps...I ordered the large size and probably could have gotten away with a medium but I have been able to adjust it to fit snugly. I wore it today while helping my husband straighten out the garage and normally after doing something like this I'd be very uncomfortable but I have to say I feel pretty darn good. I'd say it does what it is designed to do and I'm happy with it. I wear a thin pad on my underwear in case I leak a little but even with that it is so much more comfortable and secure than the thick pads I'd been using. Im glad I bought it as it's the first thing that has helped me. I have stage 3 uterine, bladder and rectal prolapse so if it helps me feel more comfortable I'd recommend it to anyone with any stage of prolapse. 4Not returnable, not discrete and don t go by hip measurements, too bigSo first of all the only reason I even tried buying an odd product like this was because with prime it looked like I was supposed to have free returns if it didn t work out. I went by the hip measurements to make sure that the product fit properly, but it was huge! And when I tried to adjust the compression it made it look like I had four butt cheeks, which needless to say made this so obvious I was wearing something, I mean really really and the compression wasn t super great. What I have been doing is wearing what I call my undershorts, which are tight black under shorts and just making sure I pulled them up all the way, may be a little higher than you normally would Well not as effective is this compress would ve been had it fit properly and been discreetly I thought I d warn everybody that you cannot return it if it doesn t fit you right or if it doesn t work! That s a lot of money for me to waste. 1Get this product if you suffer from vulva varicosities! This little jock strap-looking garment has saved. my. life. Around my 28th week of pregnancy, I developed very painful vulva varicosities. Every day in the afternoon I would have shooting and throbbing pain straight down to my lady parts and unable to walk. As soon as i put this on, there was immediate relief!!! If you suffer from a similar condition, this is a must buy! 5Dissatisfied with ad, fit instructions & product!Completely dissatisfied with the ad, the fit instructions & the product. Instructions for measuring are confusing. Information that's on the product itself, that gives pant sizes to order by, is not in the ad anywhere, including text, pictures and video. I see many woman confused about whether to order by weight or hip size as they don't correlate. Pant sizes would have helped me and I would have ordered a small. As it was, I went by hip size since I have back issues and didn't want anything too tight around my hips. Purchased a medium (supposedly for 36-44" hip) but it doesn't fit my 40" measurement (as per instructions), it's too large. I tried the straps tightened as far as they will go and it's useless with no support at all, and uncomfortable. The rise was not taken into consideration when the adjustable straps were designed. If you're short-waisted, as I am, you can't tighten the straps enough to create tension between the band & the crotch piece, no matter how tight you adjust the straps or high up you pull the band. Of course, it's not returnable so unless there's someone out there who bought a small and wants to swap it for a medium, I'm out of luck. To me, the lack of information in the ad, the fit instructions, and the product itself are all defective and I should be able to return it. If I could give it a negative star I would have. Edited for clarification, to add pics, to say I weigh 140 and wear a pant size 10, and to say I purchased this for pelvic organ prolapse support. 1Helps me forget about my prolapse for the day!I got the M and am 5 foot 6 at 200lb. It is too big around my waist (I did measure). I think I should have squeezed as tight as possible for waist measurement since it is a large elastic band. You will need to wear very covering underwear under this so the velcro doesn't rub you.Because it has to be tight to hold the crotch part up, ater wearing it for a few hours my hips really ache. But it is so worth it because it absolutely does what it is supposed to. On the days I wear it I tend to forget my organs are all but falling out of my vagina. Yay! I highly recommend this for anyone experiencing discomfort from a prolapse or similar issue. Don't let my negatives scare you away from this product. It is all worth it! 4Provide so much relief... buy long shirts to cover the visibility of the straps through pantsI developed vulvar varicosities around week 26 of my pregnancy. They literally incapacitated me to the point that I could not stand for more than 5 minutes - I was unable to complete work around the house or function at work. When I first saw this product, I thought "no way". I tried compression stockings, spanx, and a pregnancy belly band, none of which provided me with any relief. I ended up buying the V2 Supporter out of complete desperation because of the non-stop intense, throbbing pain I was experiencing. The direct compression provided by this V2 Supporter has allowed me to be so much more functional on a daily basis, so much so that I ordered a second one to make washing and wearing more convenient. I still sit down as much as I can, but I am able to function at work and complete household chores more easily. The biggest downside to the supporter is that it is visible through pretty much all of my pants, and I am very much again VPLs (visible panty lines) to begin with. However, I have worked through that problem by buying longer maternity shirts that cover most of my backside (I am very tall and skinny at 5'10, so finding long shirts was a challenge in itself - many of the ruched shirts from Motherhood Maternity fit me well). It provides the most relief I have found out of any other product, and it helps me get through my day. So, the inconvenience of finding clothes to cover it has been worth it, compared to how the final 14 weeks of my pregnancy could have been otherwise. 5
