Hurt my eyes.I've been using Refresh Tears for many years applying once or twice a day. I just received these Refresh Gel Drops and applied 1 drop to each eye. After 25 minutes, my eyes still feel numb, heavy, and my vision is not clear. I called the company after 15 minutes & reported the adverse reaction. Since it was after hours on Friday, I was assured I would be contacted early next week. These drops were not cheap, so I want a refund from the manufacturer. I'm going back to my Refresh Tears. 1Not really a gel drop.I tired these because they do not have preservatives in them. They are hardly a gel drop. I ended up with a small infection because of dryness. I will not buy again and have gone back to Systane Gel Drops that are reliably effective. 2Didn t care for the gel.My ophthalmologist recommended this brand for tired, blurry eyes, so I opted for the gel as I have nevertried eye drops in this form. After a few days I noticed that the gel dried into a flaky substance aroundmy eye....like dried glue. I returned and exchaged for the regular eye drops. 3Thick, Oily, gel drops: Perfect for me!I was looking for a thicker eye drop for my severe dry eye. I cannot usually open my eyes in the morning without first putting drops in the corner of my eyes, otherwise I will get corneal abrasions due to the backs of my eyelids sticking to my eyeballs. Most other drops burned my eyes (maybe due to the preservatives in them??) but these drops do not burn.The drops are "oily" and thick and they work great. 5My optomologist gave me a sample of these eye drops ...My optomologist gave me a sample of these eye drops. Since it is gel based and takes a few moments to,clear, I decided to try Thera tears and Bausch and Lomb soothe. They both made my eyes tear even more and my eyes felt very gritty. I use refresh once in the morning and evening and it is controlling my dry eyes very well. I am very sensitive to medications and find these drops to be well tolerated and very helpful in controlling my dry eye condition. 5No help. Relief is only temporary.If you have Dry Eye Syndrome (Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca), it's serious and can cause damage to your eyes. They are thicker than the plain refresh and take a couple of times to get used to using themput in lower part of eye first then not so blurry.But for dry eye problems, they last much longer than other productshighy recommendthis is a repeat purchase 5They Are OKI use the Refresh in the singles and love them, so thought I would try Refresh gel drops in my night time routine. They advertise that you don't have to shake Refresh like you do Systane. Truthfully, I did not like these as well as the Systane gel drops. They felt funny in my eyes -- not gritty, but just uncomfortable. 3
