  • This box holds 24 - 15ml oil bottles sized approx. 3" tall. Bottles not included. Each cubicle measures 1.25" x 1.25". The outside of box measures 8.75"W x 6"D x 3.5"H.
  • The intricate celtic design embossed on top is a Rivertree Life exclusive original. Each painted, antiqued and engraved box is made from real pine wood and comes wrapped in a handmade muslin gift sack as shown in the pictures.
  • Due to the rustic style of the box, the finish and the wood may have small imperfections which are not considered defects. These imperfections are character of the rustic style.

She loves Celtic design and has started using essential oils so I knew she would like this. I was wrong. She LOVES it. The design is not deep, but is certainly even and visible. The construction is good, the latch works well, and it comes inside its own cloth bag. I think another reviewer said something about a smell?? I purposefully smelled this box and .... it smelled like wood. I was very pleased with this box and so was my niece!!5Company or manufacture is cutting corners to make it cheaper I have a box I got from the company a while back, it s beautiful and well made. The new box is a pale comparison. I just see where they, or the manufacturer cut to many corners for it to be cheaper to make. The hinges on the newer box are not lined up, and the box doesn t open as nicely(you feel resistance ). I m bummed out, unfortunalty a company that starts cutting corners like this is no longer worth buying from. 2Beautiful. Fits all of our Essential Oils perfectly! I m so delighted to have been able to purchase this for my mother. She had been keeping hers in a Tupperware container so I wanted to upgrade her with something nice. She was pleased with the gift! It came on time and in good condition. It s absolutely beautiful! 5Very pretty box! This should never have been shipped out to a customer. The engraved design (which is why I chose this box over others) is indeed shallow and not at all impressive.1UGLY, not like the picture. I ordered the white stained box. But, it looked like someone took the brown box, rushed, put some stain on it, and washed most of it off, let it dry that way and sent it to me. It looked horrible. Mine looked nothing like the picture. There was no white on mine anywhere, it is ugly. I am returning it. I figured that I could do a much better white stain myself. If it had looked decent, I would have brought two of them. 2I'm glad I took a chance because I love it I debated whether to purchase this box or not because the reviews were so mixed. The celtic design needs to be carved deeper and more defined and a second coat of stain should be added. I would definitely recommend this product. 5I really want to like this box, but am very disappointed. I am still not sure I won't send it back. I really wanted to like this box. The presentation was beautiful: tissue wrapped, in a nice logo cloth bag, with sisal tying it off. The four sides and bottom are nice, and the inside is functional. However, the top of the box leaves something to be desired. It isn't that the design is shallow -although it is. It is more that it seems someone just haphazardly slapped some stain and paint on it, and decided it would do.I could perhaps put more stain on the design and make it work so it looks more like other pictures - or perhaps I could repaint being careful not to make it too thick or the design would be lost. But I am not really sure it is worth the effort on my part, and I have enough other projects. I am definitely disappointed.That "line" that goes diagonally across the design is actually a depression in the wood. It isn't quite as deep as the design. The box is wood in spite of the look of the lid. The hardware is sturdy, and it is well constructed. 4Keep Your Oils Beautifully Organized and at Hand As far as I'm concerned, this essential oil box is essential gear for every kitchen witch or apothecary. I enjoy being able to pull my whole collection out when I'm getting creative and mixing scents, but the compartments make it easy to stay organized so I can quickly find that *one* scent I'm looking for. I wish they made more sizes for larger bottles! This accommodates my .5 oz bottles perfectly. 5This is a beautiful Storage Box which can hold multiple essential oil containers This is actually a present for my husband that is enjoying the essential oils. He has got all of us hooked on them. This is a beautiful Storage Box which can hold multiple essential oil containers. Many of the other options were functional but not attractive. This one has both. Believe it or not his is full so will be looking for a larger box for his bigger bottles. This also came quickly and was packaged well preserving the box. When you open the box you oils stand up in slots so you can see the top of the cap of the oils. If there are no labels there you could color code them as to purpose or favorites. 5Attractive box and presentation Not realizing that this box was also available in a lighter color, I ordered the darker color, as shown. It arrived quickly, but wasn't very well packaged as far as protective cushioning. Perhaps that is why there were some small cracks in the wood. I was disappointed that the carving was not very distinct. After a few days thought, I went online to request documentation to return the item. At that time I noticed that the box was also available in an antiqued white color. I immediately ordered it and returned the darker one. The antiqued white box arrived five days after I placed my order and I like it so much better. The packaging was even less cushioned than the first shipment, but I haven't noticed any damage. The design is much more distinct/visible on the lighter color. I'm not sure how the hinges will hold up to daily opening and closing, but it really is a pretty and useful essential oils box. I suppose it could also be used for earrings and rings storage. One other good note is that the company made a lovely presentation of the box by placing it in a muslin bag which was tied with a ribbon. So, it would make a nice pre-wrapped gift! The only reason I might hesitate ordering from this company again is due to the amount I ended up spending on postage. I was charged a total of $11.90 for shipping the two boxes to me, and then had to pay $15.56 to return the damaged/unwanted item to the company. That's a total of $27.46 for a light weight wooden box. Not such a bargain. I realize this is a very mixed review, but hope the pros and cons help. 3
