These made for an embarrassing experienceI unfortunately didn't use these right away and am now outside of the return window. I read the reviews and had high expectations for these - but they simply didn't work. I bled through two of them while at work, each within about 5 minutes, so the issue wasn't saturation. Haven't bled through a tampon onto clothing since I was about 12. Mortifying. 1There is something to 100% cotton!Way better than the brand names!!! Ladies if you are using the tampons from the grocery or the pharmacy, try these. There is something to this all cotton thing. I have had excruciating cramps for years now ever since I went off the pill. A colleague recommended I switch to 100% cotton and that I research the materials in my current brand. Well....there is a noticeable difference. I am sold! I am not going back! 5I only used these for 1 monthApril 2016: I've only used these since my last period. I've searched high and low for an organic tampon with a plastic applicator and here it is. I've used others with cardboard and whenever I took them out you could smell the blood and it was a horrible odor. With these I smelled nothing and they held a lot. Just like normal tampons. If everything goes smoothly next month, I'll buy them again and they will be my staple tampons.I use to buy U by Kotex but these are basically the exact same without harmful bleach.Update Aug 2016: I love these tampons! I have ordered my second 3 pack, since I'm down to two packs, I will probably buy three more. The only down fall I have found is that you cannot quickly buy them if you run out or suddenly start on vacation. 4Not for meI won't buy these again. First off I thought they were organic, they aren't, they are "all natural cotton". I try to only buy organic since cotton is a pesticide heavy crop, and these came up when I searched for organic tampons. While they are definitely super plus in size, but they don't absorb very well (they leak after 2-3 hours of wear). The applicator is more comfortable than most organic ones, but probably not very likely to decompose since it is plastic. 2Good product, applicator needs workThese work very well and don't leak. They don't cause irritation, like store brand tampons do for me. The applicator can be tricky. Once it's in, give it an extra push upward before withdrawing applicator. Solved the issue for me. 4A few issuesSecond one I used ended with the string breaking (after use!). Um---not convenient. Several times the claw-shaped prongs on plunger won't let go or slip past the tampon and pull it back out. Sorry if TMI. Would like the company to know the problem as I WILL buy again simply for the safety of what they sell for the price. 3Good, not perfectI started switching to clean products about a year ago and have been through some trial and error to find products I like. I have a couple of personal preferences that brought me to these-- 1. That they have a plastic applicator and 2. That they have a lite option (harder to find than you'd think) These are pretty good! They are easy to use. They do leak a little, but that seems to be the same with all the natural brands that I've tried and I'm willing to deal with that to avoid all the chemicals etc. in conventional brands. Very similar to the Cora brand, but more absorbent. Will repurchase unless I stumble upon something better for a reasonable price. 4DisappointingWas really hoping these would've my new go to for tampons. Sadly these do not hold up at all. Without being too graphic I was pulling clumps of cotton out of my who-ha. The tampon was falling apart as I'm trying to get it out. Quite a mess! 1This time of month is never a fun time. These are the first tampons I have ...This time of month is never a fun time. These are the first tampons I have ever used that didn't cause any discomfort during or any irritation after use. I always wear a liner during; for just in case, and I didn't find that they were more or less leak resistant than other popular name brands. The fact that there were no after effects once my period was over, now that was new! I've told all my friends about these. I love how awesome it is to get three packs at a time delivered to your house for such a good price. So no more having to go to the store every month. It's safe to say, I'll be buying these again. 5Doesn't Look AuthenticThis is my favorite tampon so far (minus the unpredictable applicator). But as you can see in the photo, the product on the left does not match the original store bought ones (right). I was a little weary when I saw the price but when I noticed it was sold by Amazon, I thought I knew the quality I was getting. This looks bootlegged. Even the box doesn't match the color of the regular store bought ones. I want to give it the benefit of the doubt, maybe it's older packaging hence the cheaper price? I'm not sure, but something doesn't seem right. And I'm not going to insert something into my body if I'm not sure of the origins or validity of the product. (Pun not intended.) I will be returning. :/ 1
